If you ever run for office, this is the video your opponents will play two weeks before the election.

I went back to look at some of your comments on Calacanis. I have to agree with a lot of it. I recently interacted with him for the first time and found him to be somewhat hostile. I think his personality is one of many reasons why Netscape still has some roadblocks in its path.
On a side note. I’m sorry you didn’t like the New Orleans Now project post that I did. I hope you realize my objective is not to say anybody did anything wrong. What I’m trying to do at NewAssignment is figure out how Citizen journalism can be done in the most effective and meaningful way possible. I was just throwing out ideas in the post.
Good luck.

If Loren didn’t rant about it, I don’t think I’d know that Netscape was still in business. And I work with computers all day long.
I’m not sure you can blame it on one guy though: they had one good product, and Microsoft made it impossible to make any money off it. (And really, the browser was a knock-off of NCSA Mosaic, they even hired the same guy to develop it.)
It’s amazing they’re still around. How ARE they still around?

Thank the AOL/Time Warner shareholders for the needless perpetuation of that brilliant brand name..
